Packing for a Month in Europe: My Must-Haves, Cosmetics, and Luggage Essentials
A peek into my packing process—from must-have items to the perfect travel bags
Hi everyone!
I’m super excited because today, I’m heading to Europe for an entire month! The first two weeks will be spent in Austria with my family, and then we’re off to Ibiza for 10 days to celebrate a friend’s birthday. As you might know, I’m originally from Austria, and my husband is from Germany, so we always make it a priority to visit our families every year. It’s something we both really look forward to.
I honestly love getting out of Los Angeles and spending time back in Europe—reconnecting with my roots, experiencing the culture, food, and just the vibe of everything. There’s something about it that feels so refreshing.
And every time we come back, I feel like a new person—recharged, with fresh eyes, and so much more creative. It’s like hitting the reset button, and I’m really looking forward to that feeling again.
Now, when it comes to packing for a trip like this, I usually get a little stressed. But this time, I’ve been much more organized. I started two weeks ago with a to-do list, and I did most of my packing last Sunday. I used a clothing rack to visually see everything I want to bring and to avoid overpacking. Since this is more of a vacation trip with no work commitments, it’s a bit easier to pack. Plus, a summer trip is always simpler—no heavy jackets or boots!
With that in mind, I’ve been thinking a lot about what to pack for this trip—outfits, cosmetics, skincare, and all the travel essentials.
Let’s dive into the packing essentials, shall we?
